Day 1 in Group A

After a long day of travelling and a very comfortable night in our houses the first work day in the Peneda Geres Nationalpark started very sunny.
On our way to the first test flight with the drone a Seoane's Viper (Vipera seoanei), one of the most toxic snakes of Portugal crossed our way.
The group is preparing the drone for the first test flight. We have to check the technical equipment as well as the flight simulation in the touchpad.
If everything seems okay the drone is ready for launching.
On the touchpad you can follow the drones route and check the battery capacity, wind speed and see if any other errors occur.
One person always has to watch out for the drone and sometimes we also see birds like this Griffon Vulture (Gyps fulvus) crossing.
